Mammoth Brands partners with Appropo to unify digital ordering, menu management and customer engagement across its brands

Mammoth Brands has partnered with New Zealand hospitality technology provider Appropo as part of a platform shift designed to simplify and standardise how menus, ordering channels and customer engagement tools are managed across the group.
Appropo is an Auckland-based platform that supports hospitality businesses with online ordering, payments, loyalty, customer segmentation, and in-store ordering experiences such as kiosks, alongside tools like gift vouchers.
For Mammoth Brands, the move is focused on building a more connected operational foundation, creating a single source of truth for menu information that can be pushed consistently across customer touchpoints and systems. That includes channels such as app, web ordering and in-store kiosks, while supporting operational workflows that reduce manual updates and double-handling.

Appropo’s approach is built around integrating with a venue’s existing point-of-sale system, connecting POS to online ordering and loyalty to reduce duplication and keep systems in sync. This makes it easier to roll out menu changes, pricing updates and product availability across channels with greater control and less operational overhead.
The partnership also supports Mammoth Brands’ focus on customer engagement, including the ability to tailor promotions and rewards through customer insights and segmentation.
Appropo is already used in-market by notable hospitality operators. For example, Savor Group’s voucher terms are hosted on Appropo’s voucher platform, demonstrating adoption within premium multi-venue hospitality.
Implementation will be phased, with the objective of improving consistency across digital ordering experiences, streamlining menu governance, and strengthening the systems that support franchise and store teams.
