Pita Pit partners with Cashpoints to launch real, instant and tasty rewards for New Zealand customers

Pita Pit New Zealand has partnered with Cashpoints, a multi-partner loyalty programme designed to make earning and redeeming rewards simple for customers and scalable for participating retailers. Cashpoints co-founder Ian Sutcliffe, who was also behind AA Smartfuel, has described the model as straightforward for shoppers to understand, with rewards issued in real time and available to use without complex hoops.

For Pita Pit, the partnership supports a more connected loyalty experience across the brand’s national footprint, helping drive repeat visits and strengthen long-term customer value. Customers earn Cashpoints when they purchase, then redeem them on a future transaction, with an earn rate of $1 spent = 1 Cashpoint at Pita Pit.

The partnership also complements Pita Pit’s broader in-store offer, with many locations featuring EGG’D breakfast brioches and BOWL’D hot rice bowls alongside the core Pita range. This creates more opportunities to engage customers across breakfast, lunch, and dinner, while keeping the loyalty mechanic consistent and easy to use.
